About Me
Selected Experiences
Quantitative Research Intern @ Angel Lane Partners (2024-Present)
I am working at ALP as a Quant Research Intern. I am working on deriving and robustly testing options pricing models using results in statistical physics.
Spring Intern @ Various Quant Firms (2024)
I was fortunate enough to be selected for Spring Weeks/Insight Programmes at the following firms:
- Jane Street – Won the estimathon
- Optiver – Placed 1st out of all 1st years in market making game, 4th/40 overall
- Citadel – Completed 4-hour ETF arb challenge in Python, placed top 10% in market maker game
- IMC – Won 2/3 trading rounds in the final game and placed highly in poker
- SIG – Placed joint 1st/200 in market making game
- Flow Traders – Placed highly in trading quiz
Private Tutor
I have been tutoring for over 4 years now and have accumulated over 350 hours in teaching. I primarily teach mathematics and specialize in admission tests such as STEP, MAT, TMUA. If you would like tutoring for pre-uni examinations (GCSEs, A-Levels, Uni Admission Exams), please drop an email here to check for availability.

Projects
Cricket Score Predictor
Designed and implemented a Random Forest Regression model to predict cricket scores by identifying relevant parameters. Currently enhancing the model by incorporating qualitative metrics, such as a ‘pressure’ index, to account for situational performance variations. Writing a research paper outlining these improvements and their statistical significance.
Published Mathematics Magazine
Founded and managed a school mathematics magazine, editing and proof-checking over 30 articles, including original problem sets and solutions. The magazine achieved over 3000 views within the school and is now entered into a national competition for academic publications.
Merton Jump Diffusion Model Research Project
Developed a variant of the Merton Jump Diffusion Model, explaining volatility surfaces through stochastic differential equations. Compared the model’s results to Black-Scholes dynamics, highlighting differences in volatility smile behavior. Presented the research to statistics professors, earning high praise for innovation and clarity.
Competitions
Competitions
- IMC Prosperity Trading Challenge: Placed 167/~10000 teams, Top 10 in UK. Used bunch of cool analysis techniques like ADF, Kalman Filters, Time Series Analysis, Monte Carlo Simulations etc...
- Imperial Algothon:: 1st place Undergraduate/3rd place overall out of ~ 200 participants in selective Algothon Competition hosted by Imperial. Tasked to predict electricity futures.
- Maths Olympiads: Qualified for BMO1,BMO2 twice with distinction. Gold Medals in all UKMT challenges I've taken.
